حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ثنا الْفَيْضُ بْنُ وَثِيقٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ الْغَنَوِيِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ أَعْبُدٍ مَمْلُوكِينَ لَهُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ «فَأَقْرَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بَيْنَهُمْ فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Aḥmad b. Yaḥyá al-Ḥulwānī

✧ A man freed six slaves he owned at his death. The Prophet ﷺ cast lots among them, freed two, and kept four in bondage.
