✧ ʿImrān b. Ḥuṣayn said, “The verse of mutʿah was revealed in the Book of Allah—meaning the mutʿah of Hajj—and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded it, and no verse was revealed abrogating the verse of the mutʿah of Hajj, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not forbid it until he died. A man said, by his own opinion, whatever he wished.”
