حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ثنا أَبُو الْأَشْهَبِ ثنا الْحَسَنُ قَالَ وَجِعَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ وَجَعًا كَأَنَّهُ يَعْرِفُ الْمَنِيَّةَ فَقَالَ
لَهُ بَعْضُ مَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ لَقَدْ كَادَ يَمْنَعُنَا مَا نَرَى فَقَالَ «لَا تَفْعَلُوا فَوَاللهِ إِنَّ أَحَبَّهُ إِلَيَّ أَحَبَّهُ إِلَى رَبِّي»
