حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ الدُّؤَلِيِّ قَالَ
«قَدِمْتُ الْبَصْرَةَ وَبِهَا أَبُو نُجَيْدٍ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ وَكَانَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ بَعَثَهُ بِفِقْهِ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ»
