حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَزِيزٍ ثنا سَلَامَةُ بْنُ رَوْحٍ عَنْ عَقِيلِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَوْفُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أُمَّتِي ثَلَاثُ أَثْلَاثٍ فَثُلُثٌ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ وَلَا عَذَابٍ وَثُلُثٌ يُحَاسَبُونَ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا ثُمَّ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَثُلُثٌ يُمَحَّصُونَ وَيُكْشَفُونَ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي الْمَلَائِكَةُ فَيَقُولُونَ وَجَدْنَاهُمْ يَقُولُونَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ وَيَقُولُ اللهُ صَدَقُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا أَدْخِلُوهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ بِقَوْلِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ وَاحْمِلُوا خَطَايَاهُمْ عَلَى أَهْلِ التَّكْذِيبِ فَهِيَ الَّتِي قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى {وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ أَثْقَالَهَمْ وَأَثْقَالًا مَعَ أَثْقَالِهِمْ} وَتَصْدِيقَهَا فِي الَّتِي ذَكَرَ فِيهَا الْمَلَائِكَةَ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ {ثُمَّ أَوْرَثْنَا الْكِتَابَ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَيْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا} فَجَعَلَهُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَفْوَاجٍ وَهُمْ أَصْنَافٌ كُلُّهُمْ {فَمِنْهُمْ ظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ} فَهَذَا الَّذِي يُكْشَفُ وَيُمَحَّصُ {وَمِنْهُمْ مُقْتَصِدٌ} وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا {وَمِنْهُمْ سَابِقٌ بِالْخَيْرَاتِ بِإِذْنِ اللهِ} فَهَذَا الَّذِي يَلِجُ الْجَنَّةَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ وَلَا عَذَابٍ بِإِذْنِ اللهِ يَدْخُلُونَهَا جَمِيعًا لَمْ يُفَرَّقُ بَيْنَهُمْ {يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهِبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ الَّذِي أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ الْمُقَامَةِ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٌ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْهِمْ فَيَمُوتُوا وَلَا يُخَفِّفُ عَنْهُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِهَا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي كُلَّ كَفُورٍ}

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: “My community is three thirds: a third will enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment; a third will be given an easy reckoning, then will enter Paradise; and a third will be purged and exposed. Then the angels will come and say, ‘We found them saying, “There is no god but Allah alone,”’ and Allah will say, ‘They have spoken the truth; there is no god but Me. Admit them into Paradise for saying, “There is no god but Allah alone.” And carry their sins upon the people who denied the truth.’ This is the verse in which Allah, Exalted is He, said: {and they will surely carry their own burdens and other burdens along with their own burdens} and its confirmation is in the verse in which He mentioned the angels. Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said: {Then We made those whom We chose from among Our servants inherit the Book} and He made them three groups, and they are all categories: {among them is one who wrongs himself}—this is the one who is exposed and purged; {and among them is one who is moderate}—he is the one given an easy reckoning; {and among them is one who is foremost in good deeds by Allah’s permission}—this is the one who enters Paradise without reckoning or punishment. By Allah’s permission they will all enter it together, with no distinction made between them. {They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their clothing therein will be silk. And they will say, “Praise be to Allah who has removed from us sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative—He who has settled us in the home of permanence out of His bounty. Neither fatigue will touch us therein, nor will weariness touch us therein.” And those who disbelieve will have the fire of Hell; neither will it be decreed for them that they die, nor will its punishment be lightened for them. Thus do We recompense every ungrateful one.}”
