حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا أَبُو مُسْهِرٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَا ثنا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنْ شِئْتُمْ أَنْبَأْتُكُمْ عَنِ الْإِمَارَةِ وَمَا هِيَ؟ أَوَّلُهَا مَلَامَةٌ وَثَانِيهَا نَدَامَةٌ وثَالِثُهَا عَذَابٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَّا مَنْ عَدَلَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If you wish, I will tell you about authority and what it is: its beginning is blame, its second is remorse, and its third is punishment on the Day of Resurrection, except for one who is just."
