حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرِيبٍ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ أَنَّ عَوْفَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ وَابْنِ عَبْدِ كُلَالٍ دَخَلَا مَسْجِدَ حِمْصٍ فَرَأَيَا جَمَاعَةً فَقَالَ
عَوْفٌ مَا هَذِهِ؟ فَقَالُوا كَعْبٌ يَقُصُّ فَقَالَ يَا وَيْحَهُ أَمَا سَمِعَ حَدِيثَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَقُصُّ عَلَى النَّاسِ إِلَّا أَمِيرٌ أَوْ مَأْمُورٌ أَوْ مُخْتَالٌ»
