حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ قَالَا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ لِي أَسْمَاءً أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَنَا أَحْمَدُ وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي أَمْحُو الْكُفْرَ وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِي أَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ عَلَى قَدَمِي وَأَنَا الْعَاقِبُ الَّذِي لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي»

✧ On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “I have names: I am Muhammad, I am Ahmad, I am al-Māḥī, the one who effaces disbelief, I am al-Ḥāshir, the one who gathers people at my feet, and I am al-ʿĀqib, after whom there is no prophet.”
