حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جَابِرٍ الْبَخْتَرِيُّ الطَّائِيُّ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ لِي خَمْسَةَ أَسْمَاءٍ أَنَا أَحْمَدُ وَأَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي يَمْحُو اللهُ بِيَ الْكُفْرَ وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِي يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ عَلَى قَدَمِي وَأَنَا الْعَاقِبُ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: “I have five names: I am Ahmad, I am Muhammad, I am al-Māḥī, the one by whom God effaces disbelief, I am al-Ḥāshir, the one at whose feet people will be gathered, and I am al-ʿĀqib.”
