✧ On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, 'Whoever finds lost property should call a just witness, then not conceal it or hide it, and announce it for a year. If its owner comes, [return it]; otherwise, it is the wealth of Allah, which He gives to whomever He wills.'
