al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 151

✧ The genealogy of Ali b. Abi Talib "who participated in the Battle of Badr, son of Abd al-Muttalib b. Hashim, son of Abd Manaf b. Qusayy, son of Kilab b. Murrah, son of Ka'b b. Lu'ayy, son of Ghalib b. Fihr, son of Malik, with the kunya of Abu al-Hasan".

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ قَالَ أُمُّ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ أَسَدِ بْنِ هَاشِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافِ بْنِ قُصَيٍّ

وَيُقَالُ إِنَّهَا أَوَّلُ هَاشِمِيَّةٍ وَلَدَتْ لِهَاشِمِيٍّ وَقَدْ أَسْلَمَتْ وَهَاجَرَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْمَدِينَةِ وَمَاتَتْ وَدَفَنَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأُمُّهَا فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ هَرِمِ بْنِ رَوَاحَةَ بْنِ حُجْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مُعْرِضِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ لُؤَيٍّ

✧ It is said that she was the first Hashimite woman to give birth to a Hashimite. She embraced Islam, emigrated to the Messenger of God ﷺ in Madinah, died, and the Messenger of God ﷺ buried her. Her mother was Fatimah bt. Harim b. Rawahah b. Hujr b. Abd Mu'arrid b. Amir b. Lu'ayy.
