حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ
كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ وَكُنَّا نَتَنَاوَبُ الرَّعِيَّةَ فَلَمَّا كَانَتْ نَوْبَتِي جِئْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَيُسَبِّحُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَيَعْلَمُ مَا يَقُولُ فِيهَا إِلَّا يُقْبِلُ وَهُوَ كَيَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ ذَنْبٌ» فَمَا مَلَكْتُ نَفْسِي عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ أَنْ قُلْتُ بَخٍ بَخٍ

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and we used to take turns herding the animals. When it was my turn, I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was addressing the people, and I heard him say: "There is no Muslim who performs ablution and does it well, then stands in his prayer and understands what he is saying in it, except that he departs as on the day his mother gave birth to him, free of sins, with no sin upon him." I could not contain myself at that and said: Excellent! Excellent!
