حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَا ثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ وَأَبُو عُثْمَانَ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ
كَانَتْ رِعَايَةُ الْإِبِلِ فَجَاءَ نَوْبَتِي أَرْعَاهَا فَرَوَّحْتُهَا بِالْعَشِيِّ فَأَدْرَكْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَائِمًا يُحَدِّثُ النَّاسَ فَأَدْرَكْتُ مِنْ قَوْلِهِ «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَيُحْسِنُ وُضُوءَهُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ يُقْبِلُ عَلَيْهِمَا بِوَجْهِهِ وَقَلْبِهِ إِلَّا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ»

✧ He was a camel herder. My turn came to pasture them, so I brought them back in the evening and caught up with the Messenger of God ﷺ standing and speaking to the people. I caught from his words: “There is none of you who performs ablution and does it well, then stands and prays two rakʿas, facing them with his face and his heart, but that Paradise becomes assured for him.”
