حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْباعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عُشَّانَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَدْنُو الشَّمْسُ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيَعْرَقُ النَّاسُ فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَبْلُغُ الْعَرَقُ إِلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَبْلُغُ أُرَاهُ قَالَ إِلَى العَجُزَيْنِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَبْلُغُ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَبْلَغُ عَاتِقَيْهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَبْلُغُ وَسَطَ فِيهِ وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ فَأَلْجَمَهَا فَاهُ» قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْشُرُهَا هَكَذَا «وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يُغَطِّيهُ عَرَقُهُ» وَضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ رَأْسَهُ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the Day of Resurrection, the sun will come close to the earth and people will sweat. Among the people, there will be those whose sweat reaches their knees, and among them are those whose sweat reaches their ankles, and among them are those whose sweat reaches their shoulders, and among them are those whose sweat reaches their necks, and among them are those whose sweat covers their entire body." And he gestured with his hand to demonstrate. He said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spreading his sweat in this way, and some of them will have their sweat covering them." And he struck his head with his hand.
