حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَعَلَّمُوا الْقُرْآنَ وَغَنُّوا بِهِ وَاقْتَنُوهُ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنَ الْمَخَاضِ فِي الْعُقُلِ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Learn the Qur’an, chant it, and acquire it. For by the One in whose hand is my soul, it slips away faster than a pregnant camel from its rope.”
