حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي فِدَاءِ أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ «فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ وَالطُّورِ وَكِتَابٍ مَسْطُورٍ»

✧ I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ regarding the ransom of the people of Badr, and I heard him recite in the Maghrib prayer: "By the Mount, and a Book inscribed" (Q 52:1-2).
