حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْطَاهُ غَنَمًا فَقَسَمَهَا عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ ضَحَايَا فَبَقِيَ عَتُودٌ فَذَكَرَهُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «ضَحِّ بِهِ أَنْتَ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ gave him some sheep, and he divided them among his companions as sacrificial animals. A young goat remained, and he mentioned it to the Messenger of God ﷺ, who said: “Sacrifice it yourself.”
