حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ
حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمٌ الْبَرَّادُ وَكَانَ أَوْثَقَ عِنْدِي مِنْ نَفْسِي قَالَ قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ الْبَدْرِيُّ «ألَا أُصَلِّي لَكُمْ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ» فَلَمَّا رَكَعَ وَضَعَ كَفَّيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَفَرَّقَ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ وَجَافَى عَنْ إِبْطَيْهِ حَتَّى اسْتَقَرَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ وَجَافَى عَنْ إِبْطَيْهِ حَتَّى اسْتَقَرَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ فَاسْتَوَى قَاعِدًا حَتَّى اسْتَقَرَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مِنْهُ فَصَلَّى بِنَا أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ هَكَذَا ثُمَّ قَالَ «هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي أَوْ هَكَذَا كَانَتْ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»

✧ Sālim al-Barrād narrated to me—and he was more trustworthy in my view than myself—he said: Abū Masʿūd al-Badrī said to us: "Shall I not pray for you the prayer of the Messenger of God ﷺ?" Then when he bowed (rakʿah), he placed his palms on his knees, spread his fingers, and kept his upper arms away from his sides until every part of him settled. Then he said takbīr, prostrated, and kept his upper arms away from his sides until every part of him settled. Then he said takbīr and sat up straight until every part of him settled. He led us in four rakʿahs like this, then said: "Thus I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ pray—or thus was the prayer of the Messenger of God ﷺ."
