حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَنِيفَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَنِيفَةَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْبَكَّارِيُّ الشِّيرَازِيُّ ثَنَا الْحُرُّ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إنِّي أُبْدِعَ بِي فَاحْمِلْنِي فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَا أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَلَكِنِ ائْتِ فُلَانًا فَيَحْمِلَكَ» فَأَتَاهُ فَحَمَلَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الدَّالُّ عَلَى الْخَيْرِ كَفَاعِلِهِ أَوْ كَعَامِلِهِ»

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, “O Messenger of Allah, I have been left stranded, so give me a mount.” The Prophet ﷺ said to him, “I do not find anything to mount you on, but go to so-and-so and he will mount you.” So he went to him and he mounted him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “The one who guides to good is like the doer of it, or like the one who performs it.”
