حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عَمِّي أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنِ الْأَجْلَحِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ

لَمَّا أَتَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ فَتَحَ خَيْبَرَ قِيلَ لَهُ قَدْ قَدِمَ جَعْفَرٌ مِنْ عِنْدِ النَّجَاشِيِّ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لَا أَدْرِي بِأَيِّهِمَا أَنَا أَشَدُّ فَرَحًا بِقُدُومِ جَعْفَرٍ أَوْ فَتْحِ خَيْبَرَ فَقَبَّلَ مَا بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ»

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came after conquering Khaybar, it was said to him, "Ja'far has arrived from the Negus." The Prophet ﷺ said, "I do not know which of the two makes me happier: the arrival of Ja'far or the conquest of Khaybar." Then he kissed him between his eyes.
