✧ He said: O ʿAqil, go to Muhammad. So I went to him and brought him out of a kibs—Talha said: a small room. He came in the midday heat, walking in search of shade because of the intense heat of the pebbles. We came to them, and Abu Talib said: Your paternal cousins claim that you annoy them in their gathering place and in their assembly, so stop that. The Messenger of God ﷺ raised his gaze to the sky and said, “Do you see this sun?” They said yes. He said, “I am no more able to abandon that than you are able to kindle a flame from it.” Abu Talib said: My nephew has never lied to us, so go back.
