✧ One of his paternal uncles came to the Prophet ﷺ and embraced Islam. When he returned, he passed by a mad Bedouin bound in iron. Some of them said to him: Do you have anything with which to treat him, for your companion has brought good? He said yes. He said: I then recited ruqya over him using the Mother of the Book for three days, twice each day, and he recovered. They gave me a hundred sheep, but I did not take them until I went to the Prophet ﷺ and told him. He said: Did you say anything other than this? I said no. He said, “Eat them, in the name of God. By my life, whoever eats by a false ruqya—you have eaten by a true ruqya.”
