حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عَائِذِ بْنِ نُصَيْبٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ قَالَ
رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَتَى فَرَسًا شَقْرَاءَ فِي سُوقِ الْمَدِينَةِ مَعَ أَعْمَامِي بَادِي نَاصِيَتِهَا بِأُصْبُعَيْهِ وَقَالَ «الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»

✧ I saw the Prophet ﷺ come to a chestnut horse in the market of Madinah with my uncles, its forelock appearing between his two fingers, and he said, “Good is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection.”
