حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَخْرَمُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْمُؤَدِّبُ ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ قَالَ
أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُو بِجَمْعٍ وَالنَّاسُ حَوْلَهُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إنِّي امْرُؤٌ مِنْ طَيِّئِ الْجَبَلَيْنِ وَإِنِّي قَدْ أَذْلَلْتُ رَاحِلَتِي وَاللهِ مَا نَزَلُتُ جَبَلًا وَقَفْتُمْ بِهِ إِلَّا وَقَفْتُ عَلَيْه فَهَل لِي مِن حَجٍّ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَنَا هَذِه الصَّلَاةَ فَقَدْ تَمّ حَجُّهُ وَقَضَى تَفَثَهُ»

✧ I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ while he was at Jamʿ (Muzdalifah) and the people were around him, and said, 'O Messenger of God, I am a man from the two mountains of Ṭayyiʾ. I have exhausted my mount. By God, I did not descend any mountain that you stopped at except that I stood upon it. Is there any Hajj for me, O Messenger of God?' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Whoever witnesses this prayer with us, his Hajj is complete and he has fulfilled his rites.'
