حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ ثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثَنَا أَبُو وَهْبٍ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْكَلَاعِيُّ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ النُّدَّرِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا انْتَاطَ غَزْوُكُمْ وَاسْتُحِلَّتِ الْغَنَائِمُ وَكَثُرَتِ الْعَزَائِمُ فَخَيْرُ جِهادِكُمْ الرِّبَاطُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When your military expeditions become distant and war booty is considered lawful and vows become numerous, then the best of your jihad is ribāṭ (guarding the frontiers).”
