حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ ثَنَا أَبِي ثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ
يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ الْعَنْ أَهْلَ الْيَمَنِ فَإِنَّهُمْ شَدِيدٌ بَأْسُهُمْ كَثِيرٌ عَدَدُهُمْ حَصِينَةٌ حُصُونُهُمْ قَالَ «لَا» وَلَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْأَعْجَمَيْنِ فَارِسَ وَالرُّومَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا مَرَّ بِكُمْ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ يَسُوقُونَ نِسَاءَهُمْ ويَحْمِلونَ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ عَلَى عَوَاتِقِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُمْ»

✧ O Messenger of God, curse the people of Yemen, for their might is severe, their number is great, and their fortresses are strong. He said, 'No.' And the Messenger of God ﷺ cursed the two non-Arabs: Persia and Rome. And the Messenger of God ﷺ said, 'When the people of Yemen pass by you, driving their women and carrying their sons on their shoulders, they are of me and I am of them.'
