حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُقْبِلٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو الْيَمَانِيِّ قَالَ
بَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَعِي بِهَدْيٍ تَطَوُّعًا وَقَالَ «إِنْ عَطِبَ مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ فَانْحَرْهُ ثُمَّ اصْبُغْ نَعْلَهُ فِي دَمِهِ وَاضْرِبْهُ عَلَى صَفْحَتِهِ وَخَلِّ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَبَيْنَهُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ sent with me a sacrificial animal as a voluntary offering and said: “If any of it is injured, then slaughter it, then dip its shoe in its blood and strike it on its side, and leave it between the people and it.”
