حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارِ بْنِ بِلَالٍ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَدْعُونَ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ وَلَيْسُوا مِنَ اللهِ فِي شَيْءٍ مَنْ قَاتَلَهُمْ كَانَ أَوْلَى بِاللهِ مِنْهُمْ» يَعْنِي الْخَوَارِجَ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "They call to God, may He be exalted, but they have nothing to do with God. Whoever fights them is closer to God than they are"—meaning the Kharijites.
