حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو النَّضْرِ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ثنا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ

مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ يَحْتَجِمُ فِي رَمَضَانَ وَهُوَ يُقْرِضُ رَجُلًا فَقَالَ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ passed by a man who was cupping during Ramadan while he was lending money to another man, and he said: “The cupper and the one cupped have broken their fast.”
