حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّازَّقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ
أَنَّ زَمْعَةَ كَانَتْ لَهُ جَارِيَةٌ وَكَانَ يَطَأُهَا وَكَانُوا يَتَّهِمُونَهَا فَوَلَدَتْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَمَا الْمِيرَاثُ فَلَهُ وَأَمَّا أَنْتِ فَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ يَا سَوْدَةُ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَكِ بِأَخٍ»

✧ Zam‘ah had a slave woman with whom he used to have intercourse, and they accused her. She gave birth. The Prophet ﷺ said: “As for the inheritance, it belongs to him, and as for you, veil yourself from him, O Sawdah, for he is not a brother to you.”
