حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ؓ قَالَ

«أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ أَصَبْتُمْ اسْمُهُ عُمَرُ قَرْنٌ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ عُثْمَانُ ذُو النُّورَيْنِ أَصَبْتُمُ اسْمَهُ قُتِلَ مَظْلُومًا أُوتِيَ كِفْلَيْنِ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ»

✧ Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, you got his name right; Umar, a horn of iron; Uthman, possessor of the two lights, you got his name right, killed wrongfully, he was given two portions of reward.
