حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَزَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُشِيرُ بِإِصْبَعِهِ إِذَا دَعَا لَا يُحَرِّكُهَا» قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَزَادَ عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَدْعُو كَذَلِكَ وَيَتَحَامَلُ بِيَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى رِجْلِهِ الْيُسْرَى

✧ “The Prophet ﷺ would point with his finger when he supplicated, without moving it.” Ibn Jurayj said: And ʿAmr b. Dinar added: ʿAmir b. ʿAbdullah b. al-Zubayr informed me, from his father, that he saw the Prophet ﷺ supplicating like that, and he was leaning with his left hand on his left leg.
