✧ The Prophet ﷺ traveled and stopped with his companions. There were people who had made a shade over their companion, and he was fasting. The Messenger of God ﷺ passed by them and said, "What is the matter with your companion? Is he ill?" They said, "No, O Messenger of God, but he is fasting," and that was on a scorching day. The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "It is not righteousness to fast while traveling."
