حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حُيَيٌّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ائْذَنْ لِي أَنْ أَخْتَصِيَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «خِصَاءُ أُمَّتِي الصِّيَامُ وَالْقِيَامُ»

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of God, allow me to castrate myself." The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "The castration of my community is fasting and standing in prayer."
