حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَحَبَّ رَجُلًا لِلَّهِ فَقَدْ أَحَبَّ اللهَ فَدَخَلَا جَمِيعًا الْجَنَّةَ فَكَانَ الَّذِي أَحَبَّ لِلَّهِ أَرْفَعَ مَنْزِلَةً مِنَ الْآخَرِ الَّذِي أَحَبَّ لِلَّهِ»

Translation

✧ That the Messenger of God ﷺ said, 'Whoever loves a man for the sake of God has loved God, and they will both enter Paradise together, but the one who loved for the sake of God will be higher in rank than the other who was loved for the sake of God.'
