✧ Should I not teach you words that the Messenger of God ﷺ used to teach Abu Bakr when he wanted to sleep? We said, 'Yes.' He said, 'O God, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You are the Lord of everything and its Sovereign. I bear witness that there is no god but You alone, with no partner, and the angels bear witness. O God, I seek refuge in You from Satan and his shirk, and I seek refuge in You from bringing evil upon myself or bringing it upon a Muslim.'
