حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عنْ عَمْرِو بنِ الْحَارِثِ عنْ يَزِيدَ بنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عنْ عُمَرَ بنِ الْوَلِيدِ عنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ
كُنْتُ يَوْمًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِهِ فَقَالَ «تَدْرُونَ مَنْ مَعَنَا فِي الْبَيْتِ؟» قُلْتُ مَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ» قُلْتُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا جِبْرِيلُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّهُ رَدَّ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامَ»

✧ One day I was with the Messenger of God ﷺ in his house and he said: “Do you know who is with us in the house?” I said: “Who, O Messenger of God?” He said: “Jibril ﷺ.” I said: “Peace be upon you, O Jibril, and the mercy of God.” The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “He has returned your greeting.”
