حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ صَلَاحٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِذْ أَتَى رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَصَافَحَهُ فَلَمْ يَنْزِعْ يَدَهُ مِنْ يَدِ الرَّجُلِ حَتَّى انْتَزَعَ الرَّجُلُ يَدَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا عُثْمَانُ؟ قَالَ «ذَاكَ امْرُؤٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ»

✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and shook his hand. He did not withdraw his hand from the man’s hand until the man withdrew his own hand. Then the man said to him, “O Messenger of Allah, what about ʿUthman?” He said: “That is a man from the people of Paradise.”
