حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُؤْمِنِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ أَبِي بَزَّةَ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ رَمْيِ الْجِمَارِ مَا لَهُ فِيهِ؟ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «تَجِدُ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ أَحْوَجَ مَا تَكُونُ إِلَيْهِ»

✧ A man asked the Prophet ﷺ about throwing the pebbles (ramy al-jimār), what is in it for him? I heard him say: “You will find that with your Lord when you are most in need of it.”
