حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ عَادَ لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ عَادَ لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ شَرِبَهَا الرَّابِعَةَ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يَسْقِيَهُ مِنْ طِينَةِ خَبَالٍ» قِيلَ وَمَا طِينَةُ خَبَالٍ؟ قَالَ «صَدِيدُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ»

✧ And I heard him say, "Whoever drinks alcohol in this world, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns [to drinking], his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns [again], his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he drinks it for the fourth time, it is the right of Allah to make him drink from the mud of Khabeel." It was asked, "What is the mud of Khabeel?" He said, "The pus of the people of Hell."
