حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنا مَعْمَرٌ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ لَمْ تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا فَإِنْ عَادَ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يَسْقِيَهُ مِنْ نَهَرِ الْخَبَالِ قِيلَ وَمَا نَهَرُ الْخَبَالِ؟ قَالَ «صَدِيدُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever drinks alcohol, his prayers will not be accepted for forty nights. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. He said it three times. If he repeats the sin, it is upon Allah to make him drink from the river of filth." It was asked, "What is the river of filth?" He said, "It is the pus of the people of Hell."
