حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى مَازِنٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْمَنَّانُ عَطَاءَهُ وَالْمُسْبِلُ إِزَارَهُ خُيَلَاءَ وَمُدْمِنُ الْخَمْرِ قِيلَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا مُدْمِنُ الْخَمْرِ؟ قَالَ «الْمُدَاوَمَةُ عَلَيْهَا»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'There are three whom Allah will not look at on the Day of Resurrection: the one who reminds others of his gifts, the one who drags his lower garment out of pride, and the one addicted to wine.' It was said: 'O Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, what is the one addicted to wine?' He said: 'Persisting in it.'
