حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَبَلَةَ ثنا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا قُرَّةُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ «§إِذَا أَرَادَ
أَنْ يُحْرِمَ أَتَى ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةَ فَبَاتَ فَإِذَا أَصْبَحَ رَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ فَإِذَا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ أَهَلَّ وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ»

✧ He intended to enter the state of consecration, came to Dhu al-Hulayfah, and spent the night there. When morning came, he mounted his riding camel, and when it stood upright with him, he pronounced the talbiyah. He asserted that the Messenger of God ﷺ used to do that.
