حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْأَبَّارُ ثنا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ عَنْ رَوْحِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ بِلَالًا يُؤَذِّنُ بِلَيْلٍ فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يُؤَذِّنَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ» وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ بِلَالًا كَانَ يُؤَذِّنُ فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِلَالٌ أَذَّنَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Bilal gives the call to prayer at night, so eat and drink until Ibn Umm Maktum gives the call.' He asserted that Bilal used to give the call, and when Bilal came down, Ibn Umm Maktum would give the call.
