حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ قَالَ وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي أَعْطَانَا ابْنُ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ كُتُبًا عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ
«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَبِيتُ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ فَإِذَا صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ قَعَدَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فَلَبَّى»
Translation

- ʿAbdullāh b. Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to spend the night at Dhu al-Hulayfah, and when he had prayed Fajr he would sit on his mount and enter the state of ihram (by saying the talbiyah).
