حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زِمَامٍ ثنا مَيْمُونُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
سَمِعْنَا بِحَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَيٌّ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِنَا وَمَا نَرَى أَنَّهُ الْوَدَاعَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَخَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْمَسِيحَ فَأَطْنَبَ فِي ذِكْرِهِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ مَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَذْكُرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ لَمْ يَبْعَثْ نَبِيًّا قَطُّ إِلَّا وَقَدْ أَنْذَرَ أُمَّتَهُ الْمَسِيحَ قَدْ أَنْذَرَهُ نُوحٌ أُمَّتَهُ ثُمَّ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ بَعْدَهُ نَبِيًّا نَبِيًّا ثُمَّ قَالَ أَلَا فَمَنْ خَفِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ شَأْنِهِ وَهَابَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَقُولَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ إِلَّا مَنْ خَفِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ شَأْنِهِ فَلَا يَخْفَى عَلَيْكُمْ أَنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَيْسَ بِأَعْوَرَ وَهُوَ أَعْوَرُ عَيْنِ الْيُمْنَى كَأَنَّهَا عِنَبَةٌ طَافِيَةٌ أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ؟ فَصَرَخُوا مِنَ النَّوَاحِي نَعَمْ فَقَالَ اللهُمَّ اشْهَدْ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ

✧ We heard of the Farewell Pilgrimage while the Messenger of God ﷺ was alive among us, and we did not think it was his farewell. The Messenger of God ﷺ addressed us and mentioned the Dajjal, speaking at length about him. Then he mentioned of his affair what God willed him to mention. Then he said: "Indeed, God, Mighty and Majestic, never sent a prophet but that he warned his nation of the Dajjal. Nuh warned his nation of him, then the prophets after him, one prophet after another." Then he said: "Now, whoever of you is unclear about his affair, and the Messenger of God ﷺ hesitated to say it," then he said: "except whoever of you is unclear about his affair, let it not be unclear to you that your Lord is not one-eyed, while he is one-eyed in the right eye, as if it were a floating grape. Now, have I conveyed?" They shouted from the sides: "Yes." He said: "O God, bear witness," three times. Then he said: "Do not revert after me to disbelief, striking one another's necks."
