حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ السَّقَطِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَعَمِّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا رَأَى الْهِلَالَ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْأَمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ وَالتَّوْفِيقِ لِمَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضَى رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكَ اللهُ»

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw the new moon, he would say: “O Allah, let it appear upon us with security, faith, safety, Islam, and success in what You love and are pleased with. Our Lord and your Lord is Allah.”
