حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ثنا خَالِدٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ
عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ كَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى قَالَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ كُلَّمَا رَفَعَ وَكُلَّمَا وَضَعَ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ وَإِذَا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ

✧ About the prayer of the Messenger of God ﷺ, he said: 'When he prayed, he would say "God is greatest" every time he raised and every time he lowered, in bowing and prostration. When he finished, he would say: "Peace be upon you and the mercy of God" to his right and to his left.'
