حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَابْلُتِّيُّ ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ نَهِيكٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ
سمعْتُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّخْلَةِ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا وَلَوْ كَانَتِ الدُّنْيَا تَعْدِلُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَلٍ لَمْ يُعْطِهَا إِلَّا أَوْلِيَاءَهُ وَأَحِبَّاءَهُ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ»

✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'By Him in whose hand is my soul, this world is more insignificant to God than this lamb is to its owners. Were the world to equal the weight of a mustard seed with God, He would not have given it to anyone except His friends and beloved ones among His creation.'
