حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ثنا كَثِيرُ بْنُ قُنْبُرٍ قَالَ سَأَلْنَا سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ صَلَاةِ أَبِيهِ فِي السَّفَرِ وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْأَمْرُ يَخْشَى فَوْتَهُ فَلْيُصَلِّ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ» يَعْنِي الْجَمْعَ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If one of you is faced with a matter that he fears will escape him, then let him pray this prayer," meaning combining the two prayers.
